Drops to Drink

I wasn’t kidding yesterday when I mentioned that the snowmelt was a thing right now… The Mighty Passumpsic wasn’t far from overflowing its banks yesterday.

And, as you saw, the mud going up and down our hill was quite rutted and nasty. As such, I took the helm when picking Daphne up from school.

Fortunately, today has been quite nice. Sunny and I think we might’ve hit 50° at some point this afternoon.

“Best! Day! Ever!”

And, now that the yard has rained and drained a bit, we sprayed Daisy with one last round of Vetericyn on her toes this morning before sending her back outside too. And I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t worried about her…

That’s one brave little chicken.

All in the hope that her feet will heal and she’ll grow into a functioning member of our flock. Fingers crossed.

Okay, see you tomorrow.
