Not really, no.
But we’re almost to a place where we’ve got things prepped for those slow cold months, though.
All the window foam/tape is in place…

The reflectors for the driveway have been driven into the ground

Oh, that one probably bears some explanation for those of you in the south, doesn’t it?
Allow me to provide you with 1,000 words through this image from last winter.

Somewhere in front of and behind that snowloaf of an automobile lies a driveway. And if it isn’t properly marked with something that’s higher than the snowfall, then it’s impossible to determine where said car should be driving. This is particularly important for marking where to pull into our driveway from the street. Without markers, you just use The Force and hope you don’t drive into a ditch.
I’m also almost done carrying the firewood into the shed.

I’ve been dragging my feet there because it feels like such a Sisyphean task. I mean, first I have to pick these up and pile them into the shed.
Then I load up the wheelbarrow/sled and carry this stuff to the porch and create a smaller, more easily accessible stack there.
Then I carry even smaller stacks and stash them under the coffee table.

Then, at some point, I’ll drop ’em all into the woodstove…

Then start the whole demised tree relocation process all over again.
Now I do love our woodstove, and I absolutely appreciate it keeping us warm all winter…but obviously it’s not without some effort.
See you tomorrow.
