I tried like hell to get away from my desk today, because it was absolutely beautiful outside. Sadly, with the amount of work I’m putting in right now for this new project it just wasn’t in the cards…

I did get a chance to play with Daphne for a little while this evening though.

First she wanted to take herself over to our neighbor’s house, so we spent 20 minutes next door saying “hi.”

Then we came back and played in the yard for a little while before it was time to come in for dinner.

Which gave Jen some reassuring cuddle time with our older hens in an effort to convince them that I am not serious when I say I’m in the process of replacing them all with younger models…

And that’s pretty much been our day. Daph’s school is still going well. And the accidents, while not gone, have been on the wane.

Pretty good week so far.
