Likely to be a short post today since we still have family in town, but today marks the opening of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

And for the first time, we have a little girl who is VERY excited about this.

Daphne has loved the water since she was a baby…

All the way up to swimming in Island Pond today…

But when she saw that Olympic pool tonight, I think she really understood it for the first time…

And she’s been saying “swim, lake, swim, pool” ever since.

Guess where we’ll be tomorrow…
